Gippi (2013)

Gippi is a 14-year-old girl who lives in Simla with her mother Pappi and little brother Booboo. She is overweight and awkward and doesn't know how to handle the physical, emotional and social changes happening in her life. In school, she is teased by her classmates and is considered an underdog. She finds solace in her dancing and dreams of participating in the school elections. Gippi's life takes a turn when she falls in love with a popular boy named Arjun who is dating her arch-rival Shamira. Will Gippi be able to overcome her insecurities and win the school elections, and more importantly, win the hearts of those around her?
