Ghost (1990)

After a young man is murdered, his spirit stays behind to warn his lover of impending danger with the help of a reluctant psychic. Sam and Molly move into a New York City apartment where Sam finds an old penny. Sam is killed during an attack, but his spirit remains behind. He discovers a medium named Oda Mae Brown who can hear him. Together, they uncover a money laundering scheme involving Sam's friend, Carl. Sam learns how to use his ghostly powers and helps Oda Mae close the fake bank account. They thwart Carl's plans and save Molly from danger. In the end, Sam says goodbye to Molly and moves on to the afterlife.
