Georgia Rule (2007)

Georgia Rule follows the story of Rachel, a troubled 17-year-old girl who is sent by her alcoholic mother to spend the summer with her strict and no-nonsense grandmother in a small town in Idaho. As Rachel tries to navigate her way through the rules and restrictions imposed by her grandmother, she finds herself in a series of conflicts and confrontations that force her to confront her past and come to terms with her family's secrets.
