When a tropical island is hit by a devastating hurricane, a group of people including a reality TV producer, a police detective, and a meteorologist find themselves in a hostage situation. As they try to survive and escape the island, they encounter explosions, car chases, and gunfights. They also discover clues to a buried treasure and must face dangerous mercenaries. With time running out and the storm intensifying, they must find a way to overcome the odds and make it out alive.
