Gagay is a princess who gets caught up in various misadventures while trying to navigate through a city experiencing a brownout. Along the way, she encounters hospital visits, giving birth, experiments, escapes, an Elvis impersonator, ducks, dreams, coal, churches, Catholic priests, candles, canceled weddings, cameos, billiards, bicycles, baptisms, kidnappings, weddings, rescues, and a traffic officer. Gagay also gets involved with a patient, newspapers, mahjong, inventions, and a celebrity look-alike traffic cop.
