Frequency (2000)

In 1969, New York City firefighter Frank Sullivan communicates with his son, John, in 1999 through a ham radio. John warns Frank about his impending death in a warehouse fire and helps him change his fate. However, altering the past has unexpected consequences. John and Frank must work together to prevent a serial killer, known as the Nightingale, from murdering more women and save John's mother from her death thirty years ago. Through their actions, they restore the timeline and reunite as father and son.
