A young girl named Kirra arrives in South Africa to visit her grandfather, who runs a wildlife reserve. While exploring the area, she befriends a stranded and lonely killer whale named Willy. With the help of her new friends, Kirra sets out to rescue Willy from an evil pirate and his crew, and they embark on an exciting adventure to set him free.
