Fireworks Wednesday (2006)

Fireworks Wednesday tells the story of a beautiful beautician named Rouhi who goes to work for a married couple, Mojdeh and Morteza, as their house cleaner. As Rouhi spends time with the couple, she becomes embroiled in their marital discord and suspicion, particularly surrounding Morteza's erratic behavior and suspicions of Mojdeh's infidelity. Set against the backdrop of the Iranian New Year holiday, tensions rise as secrets are unveiled and relationships are tested.
