Farewell, My Lovely (1975)

Private detective Philip Marlowe gets caught up in a web of crime, double-crossing, and suspicion of murder as he investigates the disappearance of a young man. Along the way, he encounters a femme fatale, an ex-convict, a crime boss, and a series of dangerous encounters that take him deep into the seedy underbelly of 1940s Los Angeles.
