Fan is a movie about a man named Gaurav who is a die-hard fan of a Bollywood actor named Aryan Khanna. Gaurav's obsession with Aryan takes a dark turn when Aryan refuses to acknowledge him. Gaurav's quest for revenge takes him from Mumbai to London and finally to Dubrovnik, Croatia. Along the way, he adopts a dual role, transforms into a look-alike of Aryan, and challenges the star's fame and popularity. As the lines between reality and obsession blur, Gaurav's obsession spirals into insanity.
