An insurance agent, Virginia Baker, is sent by her employer to track down and capture an art thief named Robert MacDougal. She tries to entrap him by posing as an art thief and offers him a challenge to steal a priceless Chinese mask. They plan the theft at Mac's hideout, an isolated castle, but little does Gin know that Mac can hear their conversations. After successfully stealing the mask, Mac accuses Gin of planning to double-cross him, but she convinces him that she has an even bigger heist planned. They target a bank in Kuala Lumpur, but their plans are foiled by building security. Gin and Mac manage to escape and agree to meet at a train station, but Gin reveals that she still needs Mac for another job.
