Dogfight (1991)

In 1963, a group of Marines in San Francisco engage in a dogfight competition where they seek out the ugliest date. Eddie, one of the Marines, meets Rose, an unattractive woman, and they form an unexpected connection. As their relationship develops, Eddie begins to question the cruelty of the dogfight and his own actions. Set against the backdrop of the tumultuous 1960s, 'Dogfight' explores themes of love, compassion, and personal growth.
