Set against the backdrop of Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia, Diamonds of the Night tells the harrowing story of two Jewish boys who flee from a train transporting them to a concentration camp. On the run in the deep forest, they face hunger, exhaustion, and the constant threat of capture. With very little dialogue and a surrealistic visual style, the film explores the themes of survival, desperation, and the indomitable spirit of the human will.
