Dancing Arabs (2014)

Dancing Arabs is a coming-of-age drama based on the novel of the same name. It follows the story of Eyad, an Arab-Israeli boy growing up in the 1980s and 1990s. Eyad is sent to a prestigious Jewish boarding school where he faces discrimination and racial slurs. He befriends a boy in a wheelchair named Jonathan and the two form a deep bond. Eyad also falls in love with Naomi, a Jewish girl, but their relationship is forbidden due to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. As Eyad navigates the complexities of his identity and the challenges of growing up, he must reconcile his own desires with the realities of the world around him.
