Set in Hamburg, Germany, Cortex follows a man who accidentally shoots a drug dealer at a bus stop. The incident triggers a series of events that lead him to question his own identity and struggle with a split personality. As he tries to uncover the truth behind his actions, he finds himself caught in a web of surveillance footage, nightmares, and an identity crisis. With his teenage daughter caught in the middle, he navigates through a world of pharmacies, subway stations, and supermarkets to find answers.
