Contraband (1940)

Contraband is a British noir film set in London during the blackout of World War II. It follows the story of a sea captain who is drawn into a web of intrigue and espionage when he is asked to smuggle contraband. Along the way, he becomes involved with a mysterious woman and finds himself pursued by both the British Navy and a gang of smugglers.
