A group of friends go on a road trip to Ojai, California, where they encounter a local legend called the Char Man. As they venture into the woods, they experience paranormal phenomena and find themselves caught in a psychotronic film of horror and mystery. The Char Man is infamous for his involvement in a wildfire, and the friends soon realize that the legend is not just a myth.
