Bridget Jones, a 30-something woman, decides to make positive changes in her life and documents her journey in a diary. She is torn between her attraction to her questionable boss, Daniel Cleaver, and the repulsive but attractive barrister, Mark Darcy. Bridget falls for Daniel, only to realize he doesn't feel the same way. Eventually, she sees the truth about Daniel and realizes her true feelings for Mark.
