A young man's mother is bitten by a Sumatran rat-monkey. She turns into a ravenous zombie and starts killing and eating people. The young man tries to care for her while keeping her locked away in the basement. However, she escapes and infects more people, resulting in a gory zombie outbreak. The young man must find a way to stop the zombies before they take over the town.
