Beanpole (2019)

In the aftermath of World War II, two women, Iya and Masha, try to piece their lives together in Leningrad. Iya, nicknamed Beanpole due to her tall stature, works as a nurse in a veterans hospital while Masha returns from the frontlines. However, their friendship and attempts to build a new life are challenged by trauma, loss, and the hardships of post-war Leningrad.
