Battle Royale (2000)

In a dystopian future, the Japanese government implements the Battle Royale Act, which forces a class of ninth-grade students to participate in a fight to the death on a remote island. The students must navigate the deadly game, facing off against each other and dealing with betrayal and violence. As the competition progresses, alliances are formed, and the true nature of humanity is revealed. Shuya and Noriko, two students determined to survive, find themselves on the run and fighting for their lives.
