Angelique is a young woman living in 17th century France, where she must navigate through court intrigue, romance, and personal challenges. Set in the backdrop of the Louvre Museum in Paris, Angelique finds herself in situations involving sword duels, nobleman, loyalty, fidelity, and jealousy. She is forced into a marriage and must deal with an older husband and a protective husband.
