All About My Mother (1999)

Manuela, a single mother from Madrid, loses her son in a tragic accident. She embarks on a journey to Barcelona to find her son's transvestite father, Lola, who is unaware of his parenthood. Along the way, Manuela reunites with her transvestite friend Agrado and meets a pregnant nun named Rosa, who contracted AIDS from Lola. Manuela helps care for Rosa and works for actress Huma, with whom her son was infatuated. After Rosa's death, Lola returns and meets his son before succumbing to AIDS. Manuela returns to Madrid with her baby.
