A Ring of Endless Light (2002)

A Ring of Endless Light follows a teenage girl named Vicky who spends the summer on an island helping her marine scientist grandfather. She develops a special bond with dolphins, learning to communicate with them telepathically and finding solace in their presence. Alongside her experiences with dolphins, Vicky also navigates the complicated dynamics of family relationships, deals with the impending death of her grandfather due to leukemia, and explores her own journey of self-discovery and coming of age.
