A Mile in His Shoes follows the story of an aspiring baseball player with Asperger's syndrome named Mickey Tussler. He joins a minor league baseball team, but struggles to fit in due to his social difficulties. However, his unique talent for pitching catches the attention of the team's coach, Arthur 'Murph' Murphy. As Mickey starts to gain acceptance from his teammates, he also forms a special bond with his pet pig named Pearl. Through hard work and determination, Mickey overcomes obstacles and proves that he can excel both on the field and in life.
