A Dangerous Method (2011)

Explores the intense relationship between Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud, and how it gives birth to psychoanalysis. A young Swiss doctor, Carl Jung, uses word association and dream interpretation as part of his approach to Sigmund Freud's radical new science of psychoanalysis. Their work is complicated by the arrival of Sabina Spielrein, who becomes an important influence on both men. The movie follows their collaboration and eventual falling out, leading to the development of psychoanalysis as we know it.
