A group of forensic science students travels to an abandoned prison on a remote island to conduct an experiment. However, they unwittingly come across a deadly secret hidden within the prison walls. As they perform their tasks, they soon realize that their actions have awakened and unleashed a horde of bloodthirsty zombies. Trapped on the island, the students must fight for their lives and find a way to escape the relentless undead before they become the next victims.
