Jean Grey, a mutant with telekinetic powers, accidentally causes a car accident that kills her parents and leaves her as the sole survivor. Jean's powers continue to amplify and she seeks help from Magneto to control them. However, a shape-shifting alien race also targets Jean to harness her powers.
