Eddie Brock, a journalist, tries to revive his career by interviewing Cletus Kasady, a serial killer. However, the interview goes wrong, and Kasady becomes the host of the symbiote Carnage. He escapes from prison and wreaks havoc. Eddie must team up with his own symbiote, Venom, to stop Carnage before it's too late.
