Thomas wakes up in a community of boys after his memory is erased. They are all trapped in a maze and must join forces with fellow runners to find an escape. As they navigate the maze and encounter deadly creatures called Grievers, Thomas starts to remember his past and discovers that they are part of a test conducted by WCKD to find a cure for a devastating Flare virus. With the help of a girl named Teresa, they uncover the truth behind the maze and must face the next phase of the experiment.

Young hero Thomas embarks on a mission to find a cure for a deadly disease known as The Flare. In this third 'Maze Runner' film, Thomas and his friends rescue captured children, face off against WCKD mercenaries, and navigate a post-apocalyptic future filled with mazes, combat, and a race against time. As they search for a cure, they encounter infected Cranks, an evil corporation, and a resistance movement. Along the way, Thomas must confront betrayal, sacrifice, and the loss of loved ones. Ultimately, they find hope and a new home on an island.

After having escaped the Maze, the Gladers now face a new set of challenges on the open roads of a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. They discover a corrupt organization called WCKD and join forces with a resistance group called The Right Arm to take them down and rescue their captured friend.
