In exchange for information about another serial killer, Buffalo Bill, Lecter demands personal details from Starling's traumatic childhood. As Starling investigates the serial killer, she uncovers horrifying details about his victims and must use all her skills to track him down and rescue his latest victim.

A retired FBI agent with psychological gifts is assigned to help track down 'The Tooth Fairy', a mysterious serial killer. Aiding him is imprisoned forensic psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal 'The Cannibal' Lecter. As they investigate the case, they uncover a disturbing connection between the killer and Dr. Lecter, leading to a deadly game of cat and mouse.
