In the fictional city of Promepolis, a group of firefighters known as Burning Rescue battles against the aggressive mutant parasites called Burnish. Galo, a hot-blooded firefighter, encounters Lio, the leader of a rebellious group of Burnish with pyrokinetic abilities. As they uncover the truth behind the mutant outbreak, they must prevent a cataclysmic event that threatens to destroy their world.
