Sherina, an elementary school student, gets kidnapped and must rely on her singing talent to escape. Along the way, she forms unlikely friendships and learns valuable life lessons.

Sherina is now an adult and works as a journalist. While Sadam is no longer Mami's child but a traveler. The two then went on an adventure in the jungles of Borneo.
