Paddington Bear is happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens when he comes across a beautifully animated pop-up book. He decides to save money and buy it for his Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday, but the book gets stolen. Paddington is wrongfully accused and sent to prison, where he must rely on his wit and the help of his friends to clear his name and catch the real thief.

Paddington travels to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. With the Brown Family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and up to the mountain peaks of Peru.

Paddington, a young bear from Peru, arrives in London and meets the Brown family who offer him a temporary home. He sets out to find the explorer who discovered his family but gets pursued by a sadistic taxidermist. With the help of the Browns, Paddington foils the taxidermist's plan, finds a home with the Brown family, and brings happiness to everyone.
