A reality TV crew charter a boat to an island for filming, one which the boat's captain had been to before and attacked by giant shrews, more than fifty years earlier.

In 'The Killer Shrews,' a group of people find themselves trapped on a remote island during a sea storm. As they struggle to survive, they discover that the island is overrun by flesh-eating killer shrews, the result of a mad scientist's experiment gone wrong. With limited food supplies and the constant threat of the shrews attacking them, they must find a way to escape the island before they become the shrews' next meal.
