Officers Schmidt and Jenko are assigned to go undercover as college students to locate the supplier of a deadly drug called WHYPHY. While at college, they face challenges in their partnership as they navigate the social scene and try to solve the case.

A pair of underachieving cops are sent back to a local high school to blend in and bring down a synthetic drug ring. They go undercover as brothers, living at one of the cop's parents' house, and infiltrate the high school. They discover the popular Eric is dealing the drug but not the supplier. As they get deeper into the case, they face challenges and conflicts with each other. In the end, they successfully arrest the dealer and make amends with each other, while also establishing a new assignment.
