Dracula is worried about Mavis leaving the hotel, so he tries to bring out the monster in his half-human, half-vampire grandson. However, when Dennis' fifth birthday approaches, Dracula becomes desperate to make his grandson a vampire. Meanwhile, Mavis considers moving to California to raise her son around humans. As tensions rise and chaos ensues, Dennis finally manifests his vampire powers, leading to a battle against a group of demons. In the end, Dracula and Mavis decide to continue raising Dennis at the hotel.
