Together with AVL agent Lucy Wilde, they search for the culprit and discover that Gru's former friend and assistant, Dr. Nefario, has turned to the dark side. Gru and Lucy must stop the villain Eduardo Perez, protect Gru's daughters, and save the world from the mutated minions.
