S. Darko follows the story of Samantha Darko, who finds herself stranded in a small town in 1995. As the world seems to be approaching its end, Samantha's shattered home and her friendship with a troubled young man lead her on a journey of self-discovery and time-travel.

After narrowly escaping a bizarre accident, Donnie Darko, a troubled teenager, is plagued by visions of a man in a rabbit suit who manipulates him to commit a series of crimes. As he navigates his schizophrenia and struggles with taking his medication, Donnie becomes involved in a mysterious time travel plot that ultimately leads to his death and leaves those around him troubled and sad.
