Dante Hicks is forced to work at a convenience store on his day off, where he deals with clueless customers, has conversations with his slacker friend Randal, and reconciles with his girlfriend Veronica. Along the way, he learns about his ex-girlfriend's infidelity, attends a disastrous funeral, and faces charges for selling cigarettes to a minor. Through it all, he realizes his love for Veronica and makes changes in his life.

After Randal suffers a heart attack, Dante, Elias, Jay, and Silent Bob are called upon to create a film centered around the iconic convenience store that marked the beginning of their adventures.

A decade after the events of Clerks, Dante Hicks (Brian OHalloran) and Randal Graves (Jeff Anderson) find themselves working at a fast food restaurant called Mooby's. Dante is planning to move to Florida with his fiancée, but his feelings for their manager, Becky (Rosario Dawson), become complicated when she reveals she's pregnant. Meanwhile, Randal tries to reclaim a racial slur, and chaos ensues when they arrange a donkey show as a farewell gift for Dante.
