Boys State is a documentary that follows a group of teenage boys as they participate in the American Legion-sponsored Boys State program in Austin, Texas. The program allows students to simulate the formation of a mock government, providing a unique insight into the political process and the challenges they face.

Follows 500 adolescent girls from all across Missouri as they come together for a week-long immersion in a sophisticated democratic laboratory, where they organize a Supreme Court to consider the most contentious issues of the day.
