Detective Yuji Kudo drives to see his hospitalized mother, but receives a call about his involvement in a slush fund. When his mother passes away, he accidentally hits a man with his car and the man dies. Yuji tries to cover up the death by placing the body in his mother's casket. He receives a text message from a police officer who knows about the incident.

After trying to cover up a car accident that left a man dead, a crooked homicide detective is stalked by a mysterious man claiming to have witnessed the event.
